Irrfan bags 'Best Actor' at National Films Awards


Acclaimed actor Irrfan Khan has bagged the renowned 60th National Films Awards for his biopic Paan Singh Tomar, which has also won Best Hindi Feature Film award.



Best Popular Film for providing wholesome entertainment has been shared by 'Vicky Donor' and 'Ustad Hotel'.



Other winners include Nitin Kakkar's Filmistan which has won Best Hindi Film and SS Rajamouli's Eega which has won Best Telugu Film.



Actress Parineeti Chopra has also received a special mention for her performance in 'Ishaqzaade'.



Vidya Balan's Kahaani has won Best Original Screenplay and Akshay Kumar's Oh My God! has won Best Adapted Screenplay. Actress Parineeti Chopra has also received a special Vidya Balan's 'Kahaani' has won Best Original Screenplay and Akshay Kumar's Oh My God! has won Best Adapted Screenplay.



Bedabrata Pain's 'Chittagong' won Best Song and Shankar won Best Playback Singer for 'Bolo Na' from the same film.



Annu Kapoor was named the winner of Best Supporting Actor award for 'Vicky Donor'.



'Chittagong' won the Indira Gandhi Award for Best Debut Film of a Director.



Birju Maharaj won the Best Choreography award for Tamil film 'Vishwaroopam'.



Nawazuddin Siddiqui won the Special Jury Award for 'Kahaani,' 'Gangs of Wasseypur,' 'Talaash' and 'Dekh Indian Circus'.  Rituparno Ghosh was also named the joint winner for 'Chitrangada'.



Prasoon Joshi won the award for Best Lyrics for the song 'Bolo na' from the film 'Chittagong'.



Usha Jadhav is named the winner of Best Actress award for Marathi film 'Dhag'.



Shivaji Lotan Patil won the Best Director Award for Marathi film 'Dhar'.
