Nissan Micra face-lift details emerge

Nissan has refreshed its Micra hatchback in Thailand with a face-lift that incorporates exterior and interior styling changes along with new equipment

As of now the Nissan Micra is on sale with three petrol and two diesel variants on offer in India with prices ranging between Rs 4.30 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the base petrol and Rs 6.53 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the top of the line diesel variant.

It is not known when the face-lifted Nissan Micra will be launched in India but rest assured, the launch is certain as the Micra has not received any major updates since its launch in the country.

The face-lifted Micra in Thailand is powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine that has been tweaked to develop 80PS of power. The refreshed Micra also has an automatic gearbox in Thailand.

With the introduction of the Nissan Sunny automatic in India and the growing number of automatic hatchbacks in the country, the automatic version of the face-lifted Micra could make it to India too.
